Ukrainian man fights off military recruiters

Footage has emerged of what appears to be a man in Zhytomyr, Ukraine having to fight off a gang of military ‘recruiters.’ The video shows the gang, reportedly part of the territorial center for recruitment, attempting to ‘press gang’ the man into service on the frontlines against his will. Such practices are not uncommon in Ukraine, with targets allegedly forced into military service.

The victim managed to fight off the so-called recruiters, but is now wanted by police for assault and hooliganism. His whereabouts are unknown, and he is thought to have left Zhytomyr.
