Child hides from Putin under blanket

Vadim’s stay at the Dmitry Rogachev Children’s Oncology Center in Moscow was interrupted by a surprise visitor, but Vadim was not in the mood for talking. Not even if that guest was Russian President Vladimir Putin (and it was). Vadim hid under his blanket as the president entered, then regrouped after a brief de-blanketing by his mother, only to hide even deeper. His mother was not amused, although it seemed Putin was. ‘Don’t be shy, it’s okay, tell me your name from under the blanket.’ However, even the most powerful man in the world was unable to convince Vadim to reveal himself, or at least, not without presenting an offering of a toy helicopter.
