This is a compilation of Mariko's most popular singles that were released between 1984 and 1986. Most of the songs are A-sides, with the exception of a couple of B-sides, some album tracks, and 1 previously unreleased track. The CD re-issues of this compilation omit the two "You Have a Friend" interlude pieces, and added the songs ムーラン・ルージュ and Touch My Love to the end of the album as the last two tracks. Both tracks come from the album, Naturally, with Touch My Love having also been released as the B-side to the single 一秒の夏.

he song, "Hot Stuff", is Mariko's previously unreleased vocal version of the ending theme from Season 2 of the anime, Cat's Eye. Hot Stuff was previously released as a single performed by Sherri Savage, with Mariko's song, "Flying in the Twilight" as its B-side. "Flying in the Twilight" was used as an insert song in Cat's Eye Season 2, along with her song "Stay With Me”. Mariko's version of "Hot Stuff" uses the same instrumental backing track as Sherri's version, including Sherri's English Language aerobic exercise dialog and her backing vocals. However, Sherri's vocal contributions are not credited in the liner notes for this compilation. One key difference in the instrumental arrangement between Sherri's version of "Hot Stuff" and Mariko's is that the full-length version of Sherri's fades out at the end, while Mariko's uses the alternate, hard stop ending found on the TV-size edit of Sherri's version used for the end credits of the show.
