Dollar Tree DIY Gingerbread Dog House

The idea of gingerbread houses at Christmas time brings back so many holiday memories from childhood. They are so easy and FUN to decorate - with all the swirls, curls and polka dots, you can really let your imagination soar! This year, we’ve got the perfect way to make one that lasts and lasts. All you need is a little paint and a basic wooden house found in the craft section at your local Dollar Tree.

This was the first time using puffy paint in a while and it takes some gettin’ used to. But part of the fun of crafting is trying new things (well, old things you haven’t done in a looooong time so they’re basically new again - haha!). Fortunately, anything goes when icing a gingerbread house, so no matter what you do it still looks precious and handmade.

Of course, we couldn’t just make any ‘ole house for this project! It had to be the cutest little Dollar Tree DIY Gingerbread Dog House you’ve ever seen!
