An Unhappy shopper confronts a Poppy Seller for selling RUC and British Army memorabilia alongside the commemorative poppies in a Tesco Store in the mainly nationalist, Catholic, Town of Lurgan, Co Armagh.

I thought long and hard on Whether I should even post this Video.
But, As I'm a Content creator and not a Censor - It's not up to me to judge !

Here goes:
The Poppy is the National symbol of remembrance throughout the UK during the Month of November every year.
Most nationalists, somewhat reluctantly accept, (or maybe "put up with" is a more accurate term), the wearing of the poppy since many Irish Catholic's, both North & South, lost their lives fighting for Britain in the world wars.
Though it would be a very small number of Catholics that would actually wear one themselves.

In the protestant and loyalist communities, the Poppy is much more personal. They are displayed or worn with the highest pride, during November, a good loyalist or Protestant will never be seen in public without adorning the Poppy.

Likewise, the Royal Ulster Constabulary (RUC) and the British Army are held in the highest esteem by Loyalists, therefore, the sale of memorabilia or regalia from the same table as the Poppy, wouldn't cause the community to raise as much as an eyebrow.

Nationalists/Republicans totally despise these Two organizations, Believing them to be callous Murderers who also colluded with loyalist paramilitaries to kill innocent Catholics.
RUC were disbanded and replaced with the PSNI (police service of Northern Ireland) in an attempt to make policing more acceptable to the Catholic and Nationalist Community

I've tried to be as impartial as I can be, in explaining the differences, & apologies if I have got thing slightly wrong.

There's absolutely NO OFFENCE aimed at anyone.

I do however, understand that in Northern Ireland we have an absolute Right to go out of our way to be offended !
