In particular, they are having difficulty reaching their back from an “Over the shoulder” (shoulder external rotation) and/or “Under the shoulder” (shoulder internal rotation) position. Thus, shoulder pain may arise from simple daily activities such as soaping/washing/scratching their back, putting on their clothes, and/or reaching behind them to grab an object.
