On this episode of Get M.A.D. with yours truly, I had the honor of chatting with the former editor of the legendary horror magazine, Fangoria! When I was a little kid in the late 80's / early 90's, in an age right before the internet, this magazine was my only source for the latest horror film news. I would rake yards and cash in cans to be able to get a monthly subscription to Fango & learn all of the special FX tricks of the cinematic trade. It fed my desire to want to be a filmmaker, storyteller and even a horror character actor! Mr. Timpone was instrumental in Fangoria's meteoric rise throughout the years. We talked about his early years writing for Starlog & Forrest Ackerman, appearing on The Morton Downey, Jr. Show, censorship, Gorezone & Toxic Horror, the MPAA ratings board, Spookyworld, Weekend of Horrors, and his current projects as a producer on films like "Thorns", "Spooktacular!" & "The Changed".
