Myofunctional Issues in Infants and Toddlers in Your Practice

Joy Lantz RDH, COM, IBCLC, and owner of Level Up Myo, will be sharing information on how we can help infants, babies, and toddlers grow the orofacial respiratory complex to its full genetic potential. It is our job as dental professionals to help guide and educate parents on proper growth and development but the common practice is to wait until age four to begin orofacial myofunctional therapy. Joy will share her deep knowledge of how best to address and care for this population, and how to take early advantage of their growth and development opportunities. Babies and toddlers need us to know this important information and Joy is one of the few orofacial myofunctional therapists specializing in this age group. You will leave with new insight and knowledge to help your youngest patients develop healthy mouths and prevent malocclusion.
