High Protein One Pot meal that I can eat everyday and lose weight
Inspired by Birria tacos recipe this is my way of enjoying this amazingly flavorful dish. It is a high protein one pot meal that is also low in calories. You can enjoy it everyday even if you are trying to lose weight.
Ingredients
2.5 lbs top round steak (1.1kg)
1 medium tomato
4 oz San Marzano style canned tomatoes (108g)
1 large onion
3 Parsilla dried peppers
3 California dried peppers
7 dried red hot chilies (or less)
4 garlic cloves
1 cinnamon stick
5 cups (about 1 liter) unsalted beef or chicken stock (beef recommended)
Pickled onions
1 large red onion
3 serrano peppers
2 oz red wine vinegar (56g)
1/4 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 tsp sea salt
black pepper
1 tsp sugar
