Upper Peninsula Woman Charged With Killing By Fire While Still Beig Charged

An Upper Peninsula woman accused of setting her ex-husband on fire has been formerly charged with the murder of a different man.

52-year-old Julie Boxley, of Ishpeming was arraigned for homicide and arson for a March fire that killed 72-year-old Glenn Andrews.

Andrews, the owner of Glenn’s Smokehouse, died on March 19th according to his family, from the fire which was set on March 6th.

Boxley is also facing charges in Alger County where she is accused of lighting her ex-husband, James Boxley, on fire at their apartment during Christmas of 2021
