Ilopango. The unknown giant.
The last eruption of the Ilopango Caldera Volcano in El Salvador was in the years 1879 and 1880.
At an altitude of 440 meters or 1445 feet above sea level with a maximum depth of 235 meters or 770 feet and water temperature of 30 degrees Celsius or 86 degrees Fahrenheit all year round.
The lava dome of Los Cerros Quemados emerged from a depth of 200 meters or 655 feet in December 1879.
