Vehicles that are either capable of or specifically developed for off-road driving are called off-road vehicles. These vehicles often have features designed specifically for use in off-road conditions such as suspension lifts, a skid plate to protect the undercarriage of the car, off-road tires, a roll cage, and a strengthened drivetrain. Some manufacturers offer vehicles specifically designed for off-road use.[1][2] Examples of off-road vehicles include ATVs, Utility terrain vehicles, and Dune buggies.
