A MAN’S LIFE
(Written by Ben Antoniadis)

The sky is a canvas where God makes a masterpiece
Each and every day

The ocean a basin where every man’s tears
Are finally washed away

The land stretches far and wide and marvels at the bird's flight
In every direction

The man reaches for the sky, within and without
In holy ascension

The rain falls hard and gentle
Moment to moment, season to season
The wind breathes and howls
Like the song of the poet, beyond all reason

The thunder cracks open the skies
And through the cracks strike bolts of light

The lightning is fear, is love
As it ignites and lights bodies in the night

The sun welts and warms the hearts of burning men
In days still not done

The moon rises over those same hearts
Still learning to be as one

The stars remind of what is known and what is unknown
Many light-years away
A man's life is a canvas where he can make a masterpiece
Each and every day
