Taste Of Fall Arrives Next Week

Besides an increase in winds out of the northeast Friday, not much change is expected to close out the week. A few afternoon clouds can be expected with a stray afternoon shower or two. Highs will reach the upper 80s with lows falling into the 70s.  This weekend it will remain breezy with northeast winds gusting over 20 mph at times. A few stray showers will be possible otherwise expect plenty of sunshine and highs in the upper 80s for both Saturday and Sunday. Next week, showers and storms will develop ahead of a cold front on Monday and Tuesday that will bring some much anticipated relief from the heat and humidity. Highs by next Thursday will likely remain in the upper 70s with lows in the 50s and 60s Thursday and Friday morning.  FOX 4 CHIEF METEOROLOGIST DEREK BEASLEY
