Vicki and Debby are back from Merle Norman with tips for the perfect brow. Brows just may be the most important feature on your face. Brows not only frame your eyes, but a well- groomed brow instantly updates your look.  It also is the easiest way to get a “non-surgical” eyelift! ·         The trick to finding the best brow for your face is to first figure out what brow color suits you.  The best hue is the one that complements, not matches, the hair on your head. ·         If you have lighter hair, your brows can be about one shade darker. ·         If you have darker hair, your brows should be about one shade lighter. ·         Now that you’ve picked your perfect shade, here’s some easy tips to apply. ·         We are obsessed with the new Brow Sculpting Pencils!  ·         ( Demo the five shades, discussing which would work best for different hair colors. ·         Brush the brow hairs down with the spoolie end of the pencil.  This will help you find your most natural shape. (Demo) ·         As a general guideline, brows should start on the inside lining up with the nostrils.  The outer edge (or length) is an angle from the nose through the outside corner of the eye. ·         Next, apply the pencil using light, short strokes in the direction the hair grows.  The center, or arch of the brow should be the darkest.  Some people like to use two shades for a more dramatic brow.  Hold the pencil so the angle of the tip mimics your hair growth pattern. ·         Finally, as in all makeup, blending is an important step! ·         A special bonus with this pencil is the built-in sharpener hidden in the pencil barrel.
