October sales for Ford Motor Company declined by over five-percent

The automaker sold approximately 150-thousand vehicles for the month with electric vehicle sales up by over nine-percent. Ford says hybrid vehicle sales set a monthly record with a 38-percent increase. Segment sales were led by a 10-percent increase in car sales, but truck sales fell by 10-percent and SUV sales were about the same compared to last year. Ford began calling workers back to their jobs Monday after reaching a tentative deal with the UAW.
