"I don't have a hearing device, so I don't know when they are bombing. I can feel the vibration under my feet, and I see people running without knowing what is happening."

Iman and her sister Abir, who have hearing impairments and communicate through sign language, found themselves seeking shelter in a school located in the southern part of Gaza as Israeli attacks hit their neighbourhood.

Iman's struggles were compounded by the inability to connect with others due to the lack of power and telecommunications in the school.
