Morocco Earthquake, Aid and More Feat. Cristiano Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo, the legendary footballer and humanitarian. In this episode, I discuss how Ronaldo has been sending aid to Morocco after the devastating earthquake that hit the country on September 8, 2023.

As you may know, Morocco was struck by a 6.8 magnitude earthquake that killed more than 2,000 people and injured over 2,400 others⁠. The quake was the worst in the country’s history and caused widespread damage and suffering, especially in remote areas where access was difficult.

⁠ Ronaldo, who has a hotel in Marrakech called Pestana CR7⁠, decided to use his influence and resources to help the victims of the disaster. ⁠He opened his hotel to provide shelter, food and water to those who had lost their homes or were unable to find accommodation nearby⁠. ⁠He also donated $1 million dollars to the Moroccan Red Crescent, a humanitarian organization that is providing relief and assistance to the affected population⁠.

Ronaldo’s gesture of generosity and solidarity was praised by many people around the world, who expressed their admiration and gratitude for his actions. Some of his fans and fellow footballers also joined him in supporting Morocco, by donating money, blood or raising awareness about the situation.

Ronaldo’s hotel was not the only one that offered refuge to the earthquake survivors. Many other hotels, organizations and individuals in Marrakech and other cities opened their doors and hearts to help those in need. Morocco also received global support from various countries and international agencies, who sent aid workers, medical teams, rescue equipment and humanitarian supplies.
