JoCo Election Office Machine Demonstration & Talk - November 2nd, 2023

Patriots attended a showing and explanation of the Johnson County Election Office's election machines. Due to battery issues, a phone substituted the camcorder footage and certain things were not able to be filmed. Off camera, it was asked of Fred Sherman the Election Commissioner if people put their ballot in a hand counted envelope will it go through the machine or be hand counted only? He said it is hand counted then ran through the machine. It was asked if the hand count and the machine count could be compared to see if they matched each time? Sherman said, "Well, the machine we can't give you. That's part of the Cast Vote system." How is that part of the Cast Vote System? Fred said it just is and it's in our Kansas Laws, Cast Votes can't be given out. That was not on film. We had that discussion in the foyer waiting on people. We could not have the camera on. A Patriot heard this, however.
