Schindler Hydraulic Elevator @ Boscovs - The Shoppes at Coventry - Pottstown, Pennsylvania

Recorded on 11/4/23. Here is an elevator at the former Coventry Mall! This mall closed a few years ago and only the stores that can be accessed from the outdoor parking lots are still open. This used to be a booming mall back in the day but with the continued decline in retail, this mall closed a few years ago. With the lower demand at this shopping center, Boscovs closed off the rooftop parking. This is your basic Boscovs elevator. However, I am very unhappy that they decided to wall off the window! This elevator used to be similar to the Boscovs store at the Steamtown Mall. The windows on the outside of the elevator remain. Did they really just wall off the windows to avoid having to use a little bit of windex every month to clean it? That stinks. At the end of the video, you will get a clip of the former mall.
