Girl died after taking grandpa's medication, Miami Township police say

A 6-year-old girl died after taking some of her grandfather's medication Monday night, according to police in Clermont County's Miami Township. Medics and police were called to a home on Klondyke Road near Wolfpen Road at about 6:50 p.m. A medical helicopter took the girl to Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead. The Miami Township police are investigating and are awaiting autopsy and toxicology results from the Hamilton County Coroner’s Office.
