PSALM 58 - JUSTICE WILL RISE

Lyrics inspired by Psalm 58: Do you speak justly, rulers of the age?
Or do deceit and wickedness engage?
From birth to wayward paths, some minds wage,
Yet, the righteous know, God will assuage.

Justice will rise, breaking the night's cage,
Truth's radiant sun, on history's page.
God's judgment swift, no evil can gauge,
In His refuge, we find our pilgrimage.

Their venom, like snakes, they refuse to hear,
Yet the upright, in heart, have nothing to fear.
For the wicked's arrows, God will soon shear,
His justice prevailing, crystal clear.

Rejoice, O righteous, in His might,
For adversaries will take their final flight.
Rewarded on earth, in God's pure light,
His love and truth, our eternal birthright.

Justice will rise, breaking the night's cage,
Truth's radiant sun, on history's page.

In the balance of time, where destinies align,
God's righteousness will forever shine.
