FF-127: John Ziegler on the growth of "political correctness" and "wokism" in sports

John Ziegler has been in sports and news journalism since the early 1990's. He is author of _The Death of Free Speech: How Our Broken National Dialogue Has Killed the Truth and Divided America_, which he prophetically wrote before 2005. John also has a podcast called Death of Journalism.

We discuss how sports was becoming woke in the 1980's with the cancellation of Jimmy "The Greek" Snyder and Al Campanis. We move on to the media's coverage of scandals involving sexual harassment and more. He believes that sport journalists are MORE woke than news journalists. He also believes that sports journalists played a big part in the cancellation of sporting events in response to the coronavirus "pandemic."
