The SpaceX Crew Dragon spacecraft detached from the International Space Station on March 8, 2019, having spent almost five days attached to the orbital facility as part of SpaceX’s Demo-1 flight under NASA’s Commercial Crew Program. Approximately five hours following its undocking, the uncrewed capsule made its descent, re-entered the Earth's atmosphere, and landed in the Atlantic Ocean near Florida, where it was retrieved by SpaceX recovery crews.
