The Juno spacecraft, launched by NASA in 2011, entered a polar orbit around Jupiter in 2016 and has been studying the gas giant and its moons ever since. During its approach to Jupiter, Juno captured a series of images that were compiled into a movie, showcasing the planet and its four largest moons, known as the Galilean moons. These moons, discovered by Galileo Galilei in 1610, are named Io, Europa, Ganymede, and Callisto.
