Hamas said seven hostages, including three foreigners, were killed in an Israeli airstrike on Gaza’s Jabalia refugee camp. Hamas official Ghazi Hamad says Israel is not concerned “with the safety of the prisoners in Gaza, regardless of their nationalities”. Hamas said last week about 50 captives had been killed in Israeli strikes. Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu vowed to continue the war on Hamas despite suffering “painful losses” on the ground. The number of Israeli soldiers killed in the ground offensives in Gaza during the last 24 hours has risen from 11 to 13. Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Hosseini Khamenei says the West bears blame for the ongoing humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza.
