What I mean is that when it comes to hydration and eating fruits and veggies high in water, it's best to consume them alone for maximum absorption of the enhanced water inside of them. The truth is that, while protein has many vital benefits, it tends to dry the body, therefore when combined with hydrating food, it will not be absorbed as efficiently as when eaten alone.
