A hotel tax bill before the state Legislature is being supported by Grand Rapids

The bill would allow for a two-percent tax to be charged for hotel rooms and Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce vice president of government affairs Joshua Lunger says it will help pay for the city's amphitheater and soccer stadium construction.
