First Arrow Interception of War As Houthis Attack Israel, Iran Warns Proxies Won’t ‘Remain Silent’

Iran-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen issued a video statement on October 31 claiming to have fired ballistic missiles and drones at Israel. Houthi military spokesperson Brigadier Yahya Saree, said it was the third such operation and that they plan to carry out more strikes “until the Israeli aggression stops.”
Israel's air defence systems have intercepted incoming rockets from Gaza and attacks from Yemen's Iran-backed Houthi rebels in the Red Sea.
"The Houthis, some of them are bringing Iranian capabilities that are also arriving to this area and this is part of the things that we encountered with the interceptions," said Hagari.
