NOTE ON THE 10-29-23 CLASS
The main topic of the class was the relationship of the conscious and subconscious parts of the mind, and how that relates to following Christ and the two paradigms.

REFERENCES FOR THE 10-29-23 CLASS
>> For 15:4017:12. “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. (Matthew 7:13-14, NIV)
>> For 15:4017:12. The Parable of the Sower is at Mark 4:1-20, as well as Matthew 13 and Luke 8.
>> For 15:4017:12. Jesus said, "Congratulations to those who are alone and chosen, for you will find the kingdom. For you have come from it, and you will return there again." (Gospel of Thomas saying 47, Patterson and Meyer translation)
>> For 15:4017:12. Jesus said, "There are many standing at the door, but those who are alone will enter the bridal suite." (Gospel of Thomas saying 75, Patterson and Meyer translation)
>> For 28:0828:17. His disciples said to him, "When will the kingdom come?" "It will not come by watching for it. It will not be said, 'Look, here!' or 'Look, there!' Rather, the Father's kingdom is spread out upon the earth, and people don't see it." (Gospel of Thomas saying 113, Patterson and Meyer translation)
>> For 57:0057:44. 15 I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. 16 And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. 17 As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. 18 For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. 19 For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing. 20 Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.
21 So I find this law at work: Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me. 22 For in my inner being I delight in God’s law; 23 but I see another law at work in me, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within me. 24 What a wretched man I am!
(Romans 7:15-24a, NIV)
>> For 1:03:141:03:38. The message of the crucifixion is very simple and perfectly clear: “teach ONLY love, for that is what you ARE.” (ACIM, Urtext Manuscripts version, T 6 B 14)
>> For 1:25:111:25:31. … makes it likely that the ego will attack anyone and anything, for no reason at all. This is exactly what it DOES. (ACIM, Urtext Manuscripts version, T 9 C 7) Note: “Ego” is the term that ACIM uses for what I call “tares mind.”
