Ophelia officially a Hurricane, but will not pose a threat to Southwest Florida

Ophelia has become a hurricane making it the 10th hurricane of the 2017 Atlantic Hurricane Season.  Tying for second with 4 other years with most on record through October 11. The storm poses a significant wind and wave threat to parts of the Iberian Peninsula this weekend and Ireland early next week. Ophelia does not pose a threat to Southwest Florida or surrounding areas.
