ORANGE CHICKEN A LA PANDA EXPRESS

INGREDIENTS

FRIED CHICKEN
800 G THIGH FILLET 1X1 CUBES
1 TBSP SALT
1 TBSP PEPER
1 CUP CORNSTARCH
2 CUPS FLOUR
2 CUPS WATER
1 LARGE EGG
2 TBSP COOKING OIL
+ MORE OIL ENOUGH FOR DEEP FRYING (DEPENDS ON YOUR PAN)

ORANGE SAUCE
1 TBSP COOKING OIL
1 TBSP MINCED GARLIC
1 TBSP MINCED GINGER
½ CUP BROWN SUGAR
¼ CUP ORANGE JUICE
½ CUP VINEGAR
2 TBSP SOY SAUCE
2 TBSP CORNSTARCH
4 TBSP WATER
1 TBSP SESAME OIL
1 TBSP SPRING ONIONS

PROCEDURE:
1. CREATE BATTER.
2. COAT CHICKEN WITH BATTER
3. CHILL FOR 30 MINS.
4. HEAT OIL IN PAN (350 DEGREES OR UNTIL BUBBLES FORM)
5. FRY CHICKEN FOR 6 MINS OR UNTIL LIGHT GOLDEN BROWN. SET ASIDE.
6. CREATE ORANGE SAUCE.
7. COAT FRIED CHICKEN IN ORANGE SAUCE
8. TOP WITH SPRING ONIONS
9. SERVE.
