Inquiry Reveals Shocking Scale of Child Sexual Abuse In Spanish Churches

A public investigation found more than 200,000 minors were sexually abused in Spain by Catholic Church priests since 1940.

The survey by Spain's human rights ombudsman, questioned just over 8,000 people.

It found that 0.6 percent of Spain's adult population of about 39 million were subjected to abuse by the members of the clergy.
