Melting Aluminum Cans Tops - Aluminum Metal Melting

Melting aluminum cans is a convenient way to get aluminum, but it takes so long to do. So I decided to cut off the tops of all of the aluminum cans that I drink from. Everyday I have at least 2 beverages from aluminum cans. When I'm done, I just cut off the tops. Melting aluminum cans tops is much faster than the cans alone. Plus when melting aluminum cans tops, you get so much less slag from the melt. In this video I am using a smaller crucible to melt the aluminum can tops. However, if you were using a larger crucible, melting these aluminum cans tops would be so much faster. You'll see how fast these tops melt down once pressed into a puddle of molten aluminum.
