Walmart Loss Prevention Fail
Occurred on July 21, 2017 / Burnsville, Minnesota, USA
Info from Licensor: "After shopping at Walmart in Burnsville, Minnesota I paid for my merchandise and was attempting to leave Walmart when loss prevention employees surrounded me, and one of them took possession of my shopping cart, including the merchandise I paid for, my purse, and my car keys. He then told me to follow him and my possessions to the back room. He stated the stuffed Lion toy was $15 and there was nothing on my receipt for $15. I informed him the item was, in fact, $7. and that the two yellow clearance tags on the item stated $7 as well as the Walmart app, and the Walmart app price scanner tool, as well as the register it was rung up on. He looked at his phone, on Walmart.com and stated the items is listed there as $15. I again advised him the item is listed every else besides Walmart.com for $7, at which time he realized he was wrong and said:'I don’t wanna deal with this anymore.'
