Election road map - Civic engagement programs for 2026 election kick start

In preparation for the 2026 general elections, stakeholders in the electoral process have been called upon to prioritize the enhancement of civic knowledge and skills within the public.
This crucial effort aims to ensure a peaceful electoral process for the nation.
The call to action was issued by SCP Hadijah Namutebi, the Chief Political Commissar of the Uganda Police, during the launch of the nationwide civic engagement campaign led by the African Electoral Alliance.
