New sweet potato varieties - Transforming agriculture for commercialization

The National Agricultural Research Organization has unveiled two new sweet potato varieties to answer the key aspects of nutrition and value addition.
Speaking with the program leader root crops research program at the National Crops Resources Research Institute Dr. Omong Christopher, he says the new varieties are rich in vitamin A and have a good dry matter level to cater for value addition.
