Macrame Hanging Wicker Basket (EASY DIY Idea!)

OK, so I had this random wicker basket in my house and I decided to give it a makeover and macrame it into something really cool!

In this tutorial, I'll show you how to turn an old basket and some macrame cord into a hanging macrame basket that you can use to hold a plant or two, add extra fruit and veggie storage, or even turn it into a cat bed!

There are so many ideas and possibilities for this basket hanger. I'm thinking I'll install a bracket on the wall in our kitchen and use it to store onions or potatoes. What will you use it for?

SUPPLIES YOU'LL NEED //

▶︎ wicker basket - mine is a rectangle shape and about 16" long by 12" wide and 7" inches tall
NOTE: the amount of cord you use might vary based on the size and shape of your basket. I'll show you how to customize it in the blog post linked below. If your basket is close to the same size as mine, you can just go with my measurements.
