Chapter 4: Models of the Supernatural Reality

(1) Non-existence/Chaos: Non-existence is chaos where there are no laws (no order to govern anything); pure anarchy. Instead of a single universe, there are many universes (all with different laws and different conditions). It is actually trivial to call them universes since they have no cohesiveness (no unity). It is actually trivial to call them laws because there is no order. It is trivial to call them conditions because nothing can be predicted (everything must be measured, but there is nothing to measure it with or by). There is no pattern, no causality, and no structure. Nothing exists, everything exists. Any distinction between nothingness and everything-ness is meaningless; it is all a meaningless illusion.

(2) Parallel Universe Model: Instead of a single universe, there are many universes (some with different laws and different conditions). The universes can be thought of as like a large banyan tree (a single shared root structure from which sprouts multiple trunks and branches). The universes can be grouped based on which universes have the same laws; the laws are the root of the universe-banyan-tree. The universes can be grouped based on which universes have the same initial conditions; the initial conditions are the trunk of the universe-banyan-tree. The universes can branch out into different parallel universes based on which “choices” (non-initial fundamental conditions) were made; the “choices” are the branches of the universe-banyan-tree. Every choice exists as a separate universe (a separate branch of the universe-banyan-tree); all our choices are meaningless illusions.

(3) Supernatural Interface Model: The branches on the “parallel universe model” are all potential futures, but they do not all exist (only one actual future will exist as the true reality we experience). A supernatural Creator has determined the initial conditions for our universe. Supernatural processes determine the “choices” (non-initial fundamental conditions) that are made in the universe. Supernatural beings with consciousness (“souls”) experience the true reality that is chosen. The visible universe is like a computer, the naturals laws are like a program the computer runs, the “choices” (non-initial fundamental conditions) are like the supernatural inputs entered into the computer program, and the outputs are the sensory experiences expienced by the conscious beings (with “souls”).

(4) Matrix Virtual Reality Model: The visible universe is actually just a computer simulation; the particles in the visible universe do not exist in reality but are virtual bits of data in the simulation. The computer that is used to simulate our visible universe exists in a super-universe with different laws than our visible universe. We have real eternal bodies in the super-universe, but our consciousness is trapped in the simulation of our visible universe. Our minds are being trained in the virtual reality simulation of our visible universe (as an artificial intelligence that reprograms itself). Our minds will eventually reach a crystallization state; once our minds reach the crystallization state, they will be eternally unchanging (unable to be reprogramed anymore), so our consciousness will be returned to our real bodies that exist in the super-universe.

(5) Computerized Matter Model: the particles in our visible universe are actually complex computerized machines that exist in a super-universe (which contains more dimensions than our visible universe). Matter in the super-universe obeys physical laws that are more complex than the laws of our visible universe. A Creator in the super-universe used its physical laws to create the computerized machines, which He programed to interact as particles with the laws of our visible universe. The computerized machines that make up particles of our visible universe receive input choices and deliver output experiences to supernatural beings that exist in the super-universe (similar to the supernatural interface model).

It is only productive to imagine “what could be” in order to determine “what is”. It is vain to imagine “what could be” in order to express “what should be”. We do not get any closer to determining “what is” by expressing “what should be”. When someone expresses “what should be”, they are not giving any information about external reality at all (they are only giving information about their own internal desires and internal preferences).

What is? Is reality exactly like any of the 5 models I have proposed? No. Are there aspects of reality that may resemble a combination of several of the models? Yes. What is? You can choose to believe whatever you want, but it won’t change reality; I can tell you that the Creator inspired the Bible to give His creation insight about Himself in a way that the simplest of our limited minds can grasp (so that we can all make the right choice).
