I am experimenting with unreal engine, along with Blender, to see how I can use unreal engine/blender to build artificial worlds for the videos I produce.

Surprisingly, it wasn't that difficult. Sure, I am a former Software Architect who worked at some of the largest high-tech companies in the world, but seriously, it isn't that complicated.

Anyhow, in this video we used an unreal engine starter packet, which contained the building. I added my spaceship object I built in Blender. I added some free objects - chairs, tables, etc. I applied a material to the walls, floors, and ceilings. Initially, I experimented with nanite, the replacement of the old tools for displacement, which is rather different than Blender where I have most of my VFX experience. It worked, but after some thought, I decided it was unnecessary. I created a set of sequences with 3 virtual cameras, and then I rendered them into EXR files. It took some time to figure out the best settings to get the resolution and clarity I wanted. I imported those EXR files into Davinci Resolve, applied some music and sound effects, and poof, a video. It is not perfect, but it satisfied all the goals of this test.

On a side note, the paintings in this video came from pictures we took, and I restyled in Photoshop. Nice, right. These pictures will hopefully appear in a book I am writing.

Anyhow, please enjoy...but don't be too critical. This was merely a test with limited time and budget.
