Not-guilty plea in Northern Kentucky crash that killed boy

Christopher Wells, 45, pleaded not guilty to a felony count Monday in connection with a crash that killed a 6-year-old boy. According to the Covington Police Department, Wells drove away after striking and killing Eli Kindt. He was caught at a nearby shopping center and charged with leaving the scene of a fatal traffic collision, which is a felony in the state of Kentucky. His bond was set at $10,000.
