Toddler Adorably 'Curses' At Slippery Food

Everyone knows you should definitely be mindful about what you are saying in front of your kids, because their tiny minds absorb like sponges and you never know when that little verbal indiscretion might come spilling out of innocent little mouths!

That being said, you probably let it slip at least once or twice in your life when you were paying good attention to something, but in a moment of weakness everything fell through. You probably cursed too and that is okay, as long as there was no one in your immediate vicinity to hear you say those bad words. But when you “let it slip” in front of kids, it can come after you like a boomerang when you least expect it, probably in front of other people and there is no going back from that. It is out in the open, witnesses have heard it, they probably had a solid laugh about it and the slip up will happen again, because if people laugh, that’s a good thing, right?

However, slip ups can happen, especially if haven’t got the slightest clue that your tot is right beside you to hear that bad word that just rolled out of your mouth, so some damage control is your second best bet. Still, you have to check out what this tot did in front of both her parents, because her lunch just would not stay still in her spoon!

We see adorable little Lily, perched in her high chair and enjoying her snack of mac and cheese with some boiled peas. The mac and cheese doesn’t pose as much of a problem, but those darn tiny green balls just won’t. Hold. Still! Lily picks some up from her bowl and brings the spoon to her mouth, but the peas roll off and fall, causing her to show just how much her toddler brain has absorbed.

"Oh, dammit" say those tiny lips like it’s no big deal, but mom and dad caught onto her knowledge and were quick to try and repair the damage!

"That’s a bad word, Lily. We don’t use that word!" says Mom. "Where did you hear that?" asks Dad.

Lily had only one thing to say to all of this. "Oh, dammit!".

She picks up the rogue pea off her stool and places it in her spoon, as if she is teaching that thing some manners. Since the insubordinate pea still wouldn’t hold still in the spoon, Lily let’s it rip once again.

Mom and Dad are not impressed with their baby girl’s vocabulary, but they still try really hard to suppress their laughter. Lily Grace probably has no idea what that thing she keeps repeating really means; for all she knows, it could be lyrics to some modern lullaby. While her parents try to tell her how “it is not funny and it isn’t nice”, she tries to change the subject by telling mom and dad how much she loves her peas and how she’s gonna mix them.

But she did not plan for the mac and cheese to join in on the pea rebellion, because when she picks up a bit too much of the food, some of it falls off Lily’s cutlery and guess what fell out of her mouth?
