Justification is the judicial act of God by which He justly declares and treats as righteous the one who believes in Jesus Christ resulting in peace with God.
Abraham and David were saved by what Christ told them to believe.
If we have the imputed righteousness of Christ what else do we need? The answer is nothing.
We have been reconciled to the Father by His Son and we have atonement now!
