Homemade Apple Fritters Recipe

An easy way to make your own homemade Apple Fritters, drizzled with a Powdered Sugar Glaze, great Dessert.

Apple Fritters
Ingredients:
3 Cosmic Crisp Apples (3-1/2 cups/diced)
1 tbsp fresh Lemon Juice
1-1/2 cups Flour
4 tbs Sugar
1-1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Nutmeg
2 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Salt
2 Eggs, room temp
1 tsp Vanilla
1/3 cup Whole Milk
2 tbsp Apple Sauce
Oil for frying

Glaze
Ingredients:
1 cup Powdered Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla
2-4 tsp Milk

Pell, core & dice Apples add Lemon Juice stir and set aside.
Combine Flour, Sugar, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Baking Powder & Salt.
Whisk well, set aside.
Combine Eggs, Vanilla, Milk & Apple Sauce, whisk well.
Incorporate dry Ingredients.
Add diced Apples, don't overmix.
Place Paper Towel on Wire Rack.
In medium Pan with 1-1/2 -2" deep Oil heat to 375 degrees.
Or until bubbles show when you dip the wooden spoon handle inside.
Drop 3 large spoon full of Batter in hot Oil.
Cook until golden, approx. 2-3 Minutes.
Flip Apple Fritters, continue cooking until golden and cooked through. (approx. 2-3 Minutes)
Remove Fritters and cool on prepared Wire Rack.
Repeat with rest of Batter, makes 12 Fritters.
Sift Powdered Sugar, add Vanilla and Milk (enough until liked thickness) whisk well until smooth.
Drizzle Glaze over cooled Apple Fritters, let set.
