OVER 5,000 RESIDENTS TO BE EVICTED FROM LANDING SITES OF LAKE ALBERT SHORES

Over 5,000 residents from five landing sites of Lake Albert shores in Ndaiga sub-county - Kagadi district are in fear over continued land grabbing and eviction by a re-known businessman Willy Rwamwojo.
The residents led by their member of Parliament Barnabas Tinkasiimire during a meeting with the Parliamentary committee on physical infrastructure threatened to petition Parliament if their concerns are not addressed
On Thursday, a group of residents from the affected areas of Lake Albert shores led by their member of Parliament Barnabas Tinkasiimire appeared before the Parliamentary committee on physical infrastructure
The meeting between the committee and the residents was called to address the indiscriminate land evictions by one Willy Rwamwojo a re-known businessman.
