Sit: Start with the basics. Teach your dog to sit on command. Hold a treat above their head and move it back, so they naturally sit.

Stay: Once your dog can sit, extend the training to make them stay. Use the "stay" command and reward them when they remain in place.

Lie Down: Similar to "sit," lure your dog with a treat from a sitting position to a lying down one.

Come: Train your dog to come when called. Use their name and the command "come," rewarding them when they respond.

Leave It: Prevent your dog from grabbing things they shouldn't by teaching them the "leave it" command. Offer a treat and then cover it with your hand, saying "leave it" until they back away.

Drop It: Encourage your dog to release items they're holding with the "drop it" command. Trade for a treat or toy.

Paw/Shake Hands: Get your dog to offer a paw when you say "paw" or "shake hands." Reward them when they do so.

High Five: After mastering "paw," teach your dog to give a high five. Raise your hand and say "high five."

Roll Over: Build on "lie down" to train your dog to roll over. Use treats to guide them into the roll.

Speak/Quiet: Teach your dog to bark on command with "speak" and to stop with "quiet."

Consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement are key. Keep training sessions short and enjoyable. Gradually increase the difficulty as your dog becomes more skilled.
