FLOWER PODLET

Here we have another fun project. It really is fun but if you are not careful and push too hard it can get frustrating. I am using a piece of pignut hickory to make this flower. The key is you need a green, or NOT DRIED, piece of wood. You want to use a branch piece that is to your preferred diameter. The thinner you go the more movement the flower will have as it acclimatizes to your home. Do not put in the window for direct sunlight as it will dry too fast. Every house is different when it comes to moisture content, and it changes throughout the year. When this happens the flower podlet will also change and through time it will warp and bend. The thinner the piece the more it will bend. The type of wood also can make a difference. I hope you all enjoy the video!
