Empower Oversight President Tristan Leavitt says future whistleblowers with information on government abuse might be "chilled” from coming forward based on Democrats’ treatment of IRS whistleblowers Gary Shapley and Joseph Ziegler’s experience. Leavitt says future whistleblowers might also be intimidated by critics who keep “shifting their ground” on the veracity of their testimony.
