Awaken | Episode 5: Time to Prune | Abide in Jesus & Get Rid of the Old

In this episode, we will talk about the importance of pruning to abide in Jesus. We will read from John 15:1-8 and Romans 11:16-24. This past weekend, me and my husband cut down 3 dead trees. If we allowed them to remain, the trees would have eventually fallen on our house, the fence or the power lines. It's just like the deadwood in our Christian lives, it will not be fruitful and cause more damage. It's important to let Jesus prune away the things that prevent us from connecting with Him. Let go of the past, pride, envy, anger, comparison, and selfishness. Let kindness, love, patience, joy and peace bear good fruit in your life.
