Keep your peace and listen to Holy Spirit. Avoid conviction based on listening to someone else.

We all need to hear the Holy Spirit for ourselves. Sometimes we will come across people who will say that they heard the Holy Spirit tell them something for you, whether it's to engage in a conversation, take on a task, or even thrust an urgency on you when it's something that can wait.

A really good indication that it is not the Holy Spirit prompting you is a loss of peace. If you have total peace in saying no, you need to be led by that and listen. When you don't, you will come under Holy Spirit conviction later.

In this hour, we need to discern for ourselves, and sometimes that goes against what other people are hearing. They mean well yet aren't always right. However, a response needs to be done out of love. If they choose to continue pushing the issue, ask for Holy Spirit conviction and remain adamant in your answer. They'll need to deal with their issue with the Lord.

I learned this powerful truth again today. I plan on remaining adamant from here on out. We all matter. That includes you. You need to maintain your peace by remaining obedient to the Lord.
